The roadshow will visit the Albury Entertainment Centre this Friday from 10am to 3pm.
The initiative places recruits into regional areas of their choosing based on operational needs, giving recruits the confidence that when they join the NSW Police Force, they may be able to work and live in their hometowns.
Murray River Police District Chief Inspector Michael Fuller said for anyone considering a career in the police, it would be “worth the trip”.
“We have hosted some talks and visits from high school students at Deniliquin Police Station, which was a great chance to show them a little about policing as a career,” Chief Insp Fuller said.
“The great thing about this recruitment roadshow is that officers from New South Wales Police Recruitment will be at Albury for the roadshow.
“This means if you are keen to know more, you can talk to them about the recruitment process, the testing process and commence the recruitment process.
“So, if you are thinking policing is for you, I encourage you to head over to the roadshow and talk about your future career in the police.
“We would love to see more local recruits join the team at Murray River PD.”
