KDTA continues all-inclusive round robin tournaments

The Kyabram and District Tennis Association has continued its round robin tournaments for all to enjoy.

Unfortunately, the KDTA had to cancel the senior round robin on Saturday, February 15 due to lack of numbers.

If players are interested in tennis and keen to learn the game in a friendly and welcome environment, the competition continues this Saturday, February 22.

The junior round robin is still in full swing, with the next event also being held on Saturday, February 22 at Ky Lawn Tennis Club.

The tournament is free for players affiliated with a club and $5 for newcomers.

Section A and B will play three matches between 9am and 11am, while section C will hold modified matches for beginners that feature an under-arm server and first to 15 points wins.

For seniors, players are encouraged to bring a small plate of afternoon tea and the competition if free for affiliated players and $10 for non-affiliated — game play will be a choice of singles, doubles or mixed.
