“It's straightforward: the right property at auction attracts the right buyers, potentially accelerating the selling process,” Mr Seeliger said.
“We had over thirty people inspect the stunning Cypress Drive waterfront property we auctioned over the Australia Day long weekend.
“We had a few bids, and even though it did not sell under the hammer we pulled some very interested parties to the auction pleasing the vendor.
“Last week the 39 Hume Street property in Mulwala did sell at auction with two serious bidders vying for the property.
“It just goes to show that there's a market for auctions if you have the right property.”
Mr Seeliger said he encourages vendors to consider going to auction particularly if they want to move on their property.
“Even if a property doesn't sell at auction, it typically sells within two to three weeks afterwards, as we've already connected with serious buyers during the auction process.
“It provides vendors with another good option. A property can sit on the market for weeks, but we can speed up the process by going to auction.”
