Following the under-13s and under-15s 3 Rivers Cup on January 19, where the SRCC Steers took on the Murrumbidgee Cricket Council in Hay, the SRCC Steers continued their representative competitions at the weekend.
The under-12s play for the Derek Rogers Cup, the under-14s for the Geoff Lawson Cup and the under-16s for the Warren Smith Cup.
A number of Murray Valley Cricket Association junior players have been selected in the respective teams so far, with more opportunities in the coming weeks.
MVCA players in the under-12s Derek Rogers Cup side are Ollie East, Max White and Sam White, all from Tocumwal Cricket Club, and Henry Pisasale and Joe Holden from the Deniliquin Rhinos.
Members of the MVCA in the under-14s side are Archie Paterson (Katamatite Cricket Club) and Kohen Haddrell (Barooga Cricket Club).
The under-16s has a strong MCVA presence, including Liam Sutton and Tom White from Tocumwal, Murphy Stephens and Crue Lucas from Barooga, Lenny Power from Cobram, Gus Frostick and Zander Quinn from Nathalia, and Cooper Mynard from Katamatite Cricket Club.
Tournaments resumed in either January or early February, and continue throughout the month.
