Gannawarra Shire Council sport club representatives are invited to a free dinner in Koondrook for networking and grant application support.
Hosted by the multi-talented television host Brihony Dawson, the event will feature a presentation on practical advice for successful grant applications from ‘The Grants Guy’, Keith Whelan.
A panel of industry professionals will also host a question-and-answer session on all things sport, grant funding, and club support.
The event marks the launch of the council’s Fair Access Policy, guiding its commitment to reducing the barriers to accessing community sport for different demographics.
Chief executive Geoff Rollinson said community sport clubs play an important role in connecting residents, both on and off the field.
“I encourage all sporting clubs to get a group of members together for this special night,” Mr Rollinson said.
