The Victorian Government is continuing to encourage and support women and girls to take part in sport.
State Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes has announced that applications are open for the 2024-25 Change Our Game Community Activation Grants program.
Grants of up to $10,000 are available for community sport and recreation clubs to help encourage women and girls to take part in sport, with initiatives including new women’s programs and hosting a women’s round.
“The Change Our Game Community Activation Grants program is a fantastic opportunity for our community sport and active recreation clubs to showcase the important roles women and girls play and deserve,” Ms Symes said.
“I encourage all eligible organisations to consider applying.”
Over the past eight years, the program has provided almost $3 million towards 580 grants across Victoria.
Applications will close at 5pm on Wednesday, February 26.
