Fun had by all at family fun day

The Mulwala Water Ski Club was the perfect place to be over the Australia Day long weekend with the Family Fun Day held on Saturday, January 25 seeing families galore in attendance.

A great number of people enjoyed the festivities on offer with many children enjoying plenty of free activities including the jumping castle, water slide and camel rides which drew the crowds.

New Mulwala Water Ski Club CEO Greg Roberts said this was a very successful day and it was wonderful to see so many families engaged with the large variety of rides and activities available.

“We had more than 3000 people visit throughout the day with the camel rides proving very popular,” Mr Roberts said.

“All feedback received about the Family Fun Day was very positive, with many people saying they had travelled to Mulwala just for the day.

“The weather was pleasant for this event with five hours of free rides being great value.

“There was plenty of activities to choose from including a wave rider, mini merry-go-round, face painting, balloon figures, glitter tattoos, rock wall and slot car track.

“The AIRTIME FMX team thrilled the crowd with the amazing tricks and stunts whilst the Animals of Oz Zoo gave people the opportunity to pat a crocodile, kookaburra or a snake.

“Once again, the Show Ski Team were amazing with their performances on water as they thrilled the crowd with the sensational jumps, flips, swivels, pyramids and barefoot skiing.”
