Ryan’s 142 was the jewel in the Ducks’ innings with Adam McPhee providing a solid cameo of 64, Kaj Huddle (2-37) was the only Mower able to tally more than one wicket.
Meanwhile, Moama was able to get off to a strong start with Matthew Watt (46) and Jackson Groves (26) making runs but only Alex Kidd (8 not-out) scored above six the rest of the way as Sam Ryan (6-9) tore through the rest of the order.
Echuca (8-220) has the minor premiership locked down with a thumping against BLU (55) helping its quotient.
Connor Shannon (62) and Thomas Kerr (62) delivered with the bat for the men in green while Alex Wagner (3-30) had nice figures for the Lions.
Unfortunately for BLU, Wagner’s (19) was the only score of substance as Echuca’s balanced bowling attack laid waste, led by Nick Dolan (2-5).
Rushworth (2-81) had little trouble blowing past Elmore (80) as the Tigers eye a third-place finish.
James Harney (32) and Luke Price (19) did their best with not much help as Regan Hanson led Rushworth’s bowling attack (4-26).
The Tigers were in cruise control in their innings as Thomas Stevens and Jake Perry did the bulk of the scoring, notching 24 each.
Stanhope (4-108) has dampened Ky Fire Brigade’s (9-107) finals hopes in a tight round 16 fixture.
Oscar (27) and Lachlan Carver (17) kept the Flames in the hunt while Dinesh Reddy Kondala (3-19) did damage with the ball.
However, Luke Twynstra (63 not-out) and Ethan Howard (21 not-out) combined to get Stanhope over the line.
Bill Williams Murray B-grade Shield
While Echuca South (9-96) failed to crack 100, Rochester (0-100) didn’t leave first gear as it strolled to a dominant victory inside 20 overs.
Kaydn Blachford (20) was the only batter scoring runs while Will Broucek (3-13) spearheaded the bowling attack.
Rochester’s opening pair of Craig Williams (65 not-out) and Donald Young (27 not-out) easily chased down the total with no Swans bowlers able to claim a wicket.
Leitchville-Gunbower (9-173) were able to overcome Moama (87) in their match up.
A half-century from captain Scott Lucas (55) and an unbeaten 47 from James Keath meant L-G had a defendable total from its 40 overs, with young leg-spinner Ted Palmer (3-17) producing the goods for Moama.
Marcus Maher (39) produced the only notable score for the Mowers outside a small cameo from Charlie Courts (12) with Matthew Pollock (4-15) lifting his side.
Cooma (161) continued its winning ways, but it was always easy as Nondies-Cohuna (106) managed to go reasonably close in its chase.
Cooper Fawcett (69) continued to prove he is a force with the bat with Ethan Palma-Ludeman (34) chipped in while Logan Higgs (4-16) recorded excellent bowling figures for Nondies.
Unfortuantley, John Officer (32) and Mark Higgs (20) were essentially the only resistance Nondies could offer against Cooma’s bowling attack, led by Hunter Fawcett (4-12).
Girgarre (3-168) got home with five overs to spare against Tongala (7-165) in their contest.
Travis Johnstone (38) and Sid Jani (28 not-out) set the stage for the Blues but were ultimately pipped at the death thanks in large part to the batting heroics of Girgarre’s Jonothon Sherritt (77 not-out)
Charles Lowe (32) and Steven Phillips (47 not-out) also contributed in the win for the Kanagroos.
Gus Underwood C-grade Shield
Rochester’s (6-200) top order set a big total that Ky Fire Brigade (9-122) couldn’t chase down in their battle.
Leigh Hartshorne (51), Joel Bunce (55) and James Anderson (40) all made runs in the first innings for Rochy while Rory Harrington got the job done with the ball, taking 5-25 in the second innings.
Giragrre (40) fell over 100 runs short in its chase of Echuca’s first innings total of 8-148.
Ryan Caldwell (31 not-out) and Halen Danziger (36 not-out) stood up for the men in green with the bat, while William Kerr took 4-14 against a side who had eight ducks, two of which were golden.
It took Elmore (1-67) just 10 overs to chase down Echuca South’s all-out score of 63.
Aaron Juffs (51 not-out) scored the majority of the runs in the Redbacks’ chase after Angus McNamara (3-13) was the stand-out with the ball for Elmore.
It was a similar case in Stanhope as the home side (60) were easily tracked down by BLU (1-61).
Gideon Flett (4-5), Charlie Mundie (3-2) and Josh Felmingham (3-25) were stellar with the ball while Charlie McIntyre (27) and Adrian Flett (26 not-out) got the visiting side home.
Peter Raglus D-grade Shield
Tonny (9-140) did just enough to stop Echuca (109) claiming the win from them in round 14.
Tim Simpson’s 59 not-out was a guiding light that was assisted by Terry Kay (30 not-out) in the first innings while Seth Chandler (4-30) had a day out with ball in hand.
Ky Fire Brigade only managed 37 in a first innings lasting just 18 overs where Rushworth (1-38) were able to swallow them whole in eight overs.
Declan Baldwin’s 20 not-out and some change was all it took for the Tigers to get the win after a solid all-round bowling stint led by Charlie McLean (3-13).
In a thriller, Stanhope (9-155) managed to outlast BLU (140) at Bamawm Recreation Reserve.
A good partnership by Kian Verrall (52) and Jayke Fisher (45) was the key for the visitors as Cooper Fisher (3-15) was able to do the job with the ball.
