Police reveal items found in search for missing woman

On Wednesday, Victoria Police revealed officers located some items during a search but did not reveal what they were.

"The items will be assessed to determine if they are relevant to the investigation," a police spokeswoman said in a statement.

Crews have been out searching for Ms Murphy since Monday and journalists at the scene report authorities have focused their efforts on an area close to her house.

Police said the 51-year-old's disappearance is out of character.

Ms Murphy is Caucasian, about 173cm tall with a slim build and shoulder-length blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing black half-length leggings and a maroon or brown singlet.
