Many people were in attendance for last week’s Edward River Council Australian citizenship ceremony at the Deniliquin Town Hall.
Friends, family, community members and government representatives were present to see Meyerene Geldenhuys and Daisy Mejos officially become Australian citizens.
The ceremony was followed by a morning tea with light refreshments.
