The league released its fixture for 2025 on Tuesday afternoon.
Next year’s season will start a week earlier than 2024, with round one beginning on April 5 with a full schedule of matches.
The end of the season has also been confirmed, with the league announcing grand final day will once again be held at Moorooopna Recreation Reserve, this time on September 13.
Next year will also have the return of each club having one home and one away game on a Sunday throughout the season.
One change for next year will be the omission of Dookie United from the fixture as the Thunder departs for Picola District Football Netball League, leaving Kyabram District League with 13 clubs.
This year Murchison-Toolamba was crowned king of the league after stopping Lancaster’s attempt at a three-peat and securing the senior football premiership.
The grand final replay is scheduled for round three when Murchison-Toolamba hosts Shepparton East.
The A-grade grand final replay between Lancaster and Girgarre is also scheduled for round three.
Girgarre was anointed queen of the league after securing the club’s first A-grade flag.
League president Peter Cordy said after the success of 2024, he couldn’t wait to watch what 2025 had in store for the competition.
“2024 was a fantastic season for the league,” Cordy said.
“The competition throughout the league for both football and netball was exciting, culminating in a fantastic grand final day.
“The home and away season will be 18 rounds, with teams playing 16 games — eight home and eight away — with two byes (and two league-wide byes).
“This will be followed by a four-week finals series.”
