Mooroopna residents encouraged to drop off wreaths at cenotaph for Remembrance Day

They will then be laid by Rotary Mooroopna members at a small closed ceremony at 11 am.

“We still believe the day should be commemorated in some way,” he said.

“We've had lots of people asking what's happening this year. Remembrance Day is becoming a lot more popular each year, as is Anzac Day.

“While people can't attend the ceremony, we encourage them to drop off a wreath, and welcome anyone to come pay their respects throughout the rest of the day.”
