To commemorate National Reconciliation Week, Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre is showcasing a range of impressive indigenous artworks by local artists Greg James, Holly McLennan Brown and Tom Day. The free exhibition will run until June 10, from 9 am until 3 pm. Head down to 23 Alexandra St, Mooroopna to view the powerful canvasses, woods, fabric and ceramics. All three artists take inspiration from their cultural heritage, drawing upon dreaming and creation stories as well as their connection to country.
Savage Angels
Girls aged 11-17 and their parents are encouraged to head to Shepparton's GV Hotel on Friday evening for an informative event focussing on inspiring, informing and instructing women to make choices in life. Empowering girls in the face of social media and peer influences, the Angels seek to influence girls to blaze their own trail. The topics addressed will be around personal development, self-esteem, relationships, social media and mental health. The event begins at 7 pm at 233 High St, Shepparton. A Taste of African Cultures
Experience and celebrate the rhythms, sounds, colours and flavours of African cultures at the fifth Taste of African Cultures festival. From 1 pm to 7 pm, St Paul's African House will come to life with a free showcase of tastes, sights, sounds and rhythms. There'll be delicious African food and coffee, drumming and dance workshops, local African performers, African fashion parades, African handcrafts, local African business owners and lots more. The event takes place at African House, 54 Poplar Ave, Shepparton.
Kids Space
The first and third Saturday of every month, Kids Space will host a different activity for kids of all ages at Shepparton's Maude St Mall. This week's free event is running from 10 am to 2 pm. Bring your kids along for some family fun.
Euroa Farmers’ Market
Euroa Farmers’ Market is back for another month at Kirkland Ave, Euroa. It features a whole block of stalls filled with local produce, grown or crafted by the person smiling at you behind the counter. Entry is free. The market will run from 9 am to 1 pm.

Movies at Numurkah Town Hall are back with a vengeance - and this week, get ready for a thriller with The Dry. Based on bestselling Australian author Jane Harper's novel, Aaron Falk returns to his drought-stricken town to attend a tragic funeral.
