After a successful Show n’ Shine event last year, the Mustang Owner’s Club of Australia (MOCA) Victorian branch will return to Echuca to donate funds to Echuca Village Fire Brigade.
MOCA members from across the state will converge in Echuca on Friday, November 8, before travelling to Deniliquin on Saturday, November 9, to spend the day at The Depot Historic Collection.
MOCA Victoria is set to donate thousands of dollars to Echuca Village Fir Brigade and in return, it will host a breakfast for the members on Sunday before escorting the 40 Mustangs to Echuca Aquatic Reserve for the show n’ shine which will begin from 10am until noon.
The event is open to members of the public who are interested in seeing a range of Mustangs from different eras, with MOCA Victoria event organiser and Echuca local Kevin Long inviting other Mustang owners along.
Mr Long also emphasised the excitement among MOCA Victoria members for the event and the love the club has for Echuca and surrounding areas.
“Any locals that want to come to show n’ shine, they can, and if anyone has a Mustang, they are quite welcome to show it, they’ll just need to let me know to arrange a parking spot,” he said.
“All of our members are excited. Last time they came to Echuca, they loved it, and that’s why they are keen to come back and make it an annual event,” he said.
“Our members enjoy the area and what it has to offer in terms of restaurants, shops and bars, they’ll be spending a bit of money here.”
“The club loves to give and so being able to help out the Echuca Village CFA is really pleasing, and it’s nice for them to put on a breakfast for us, we have a good relationship with them.”
