The gathering consisted of the Rochester, Kyabram, Moroopna and Tatura probus clubs, making up a total of 90 attendees on the day.
Although this years event was held in Kyabram due to some venue issues, it was the Rochester clubs turn to host.
President of the Rochester Probus Club Joan Jenkins said it was a great opportunity to mingle with the other clubs.
“You get to know people from other clubs and that’s probably the best thing about the day,” she said.
“You get ideas on what they do and how we can stimulate the club.”
The day was filled with skits, entertainment, some jokes, live music by The Pure Drop band.
The day was also fully catered by Regan’s Catering in Tongala.
The annual gathering was initiated last year with the Mooroopna club hosting the first event.
After a successful inception, it will now continue each year with the participating probus groups to take turns hosting.
The Rochester club has had a busy couple of months, with the combine being held a few weeks after its six-day bus trip to Renmark and the Riverlands.
The group of 41 members enjoyed seeing new landscapes and travelling through the Mallee to the many citrus and nut orchards of the Riverland
The journey included a cruise on the Murray and visits to numerous attractions, such as Olivewood House, St Agnes Distillery, and the Mallee Fowl Restaurant.
