The Bureau of Meteorology's Senior Meteorologist Sarah Scully shares what can be expected for weather patterns across the rest of the country below.
The forecast for Shepparton over the next week is as follows.
The rest of Monday, June 3 is expected to remain partly cloudy with temperatures dropping to 7℃ by 10pm.
Tuesday, June 4 will be a fairly cold and cloudy day with minimum temperatures reaching 2℃ by 7am and a maximum temperature of 14℃ a bit after midday.
The chance of rain is very slim with only a five per cent chance in the evening as temperatures drop to 6℃ by 10pm.
The sun might show its face on Wednesday, June 5 but only just through the surface of the clouds as another partly cloudy day is to be expected.
The maximum temperature for the day is forecasted for 16℃ from the early to late afternoon, with a minimum of 4℃ at around 7am.
The chance of rain throughout the day are ten per cent, and the night time temperature is expected to drop to 9℃.
On Thursday, June 6, a temperature minimum of 6℃ will kick-start the day off with maximum temperatures raising to 18℃ throughout the late afternoon.
It’s expected to be another partly cloudy day with light southerly winds of 15 to 20km/h during the morning becoming lighter during the evening.
There will be a five per cent chance in rain throughout the day and a drop of temperature at night time to 10℃.
Friday, June 7 is set to be the warmest day of the week with a top of 19℃ just after midday following on from a minimum of 6℃ in the early morning.
No rain is expected, however light southerly winds of 15 to 20km/h are forecasted throughout the day.
Night time temperatures will reach 9℃ by 10pm.
The weather is expected to go back to being partly cloudy across the weekend with a top of 18℃ on Saturday, June 8 and 17℃ on Sunday, June 9.
There will be a five per cent chance of rain across both days with minimum temperatures of 5℃ on Saturday and 3℃ on Sunday, both around 7am.
As for night time temperatures, by 10pm, temperatures will reach 9℃ on Saturday and 7℃ on Sunday.
