Division 1 and Division 4 had close results with two shots and one-shot losses, but still losses. We will have to regroup and come up with better results next week.
Midweek pennant started Tuesday, October 8 with Division 1 at home and Division 2 at Numurkah.
We wish them all the best and a better result than the Saturday pennant.
Practice this week will be at 4pm owing to our greens being in use by the state pairs this week, so we all need to remember this.
However if you come early you can watch some pair combinations from various clubs playing in this event.
Men's trade day winner last week I understand was the team of Willie Nelson, Ken Opray and Peter Wood but no other details advised to the scribe.
Women's trade winners were the team from Cobram comprising of Brenda Smethurst, Jeanette Liersh and Susie Carter.
Runners-up were the Barooga team of Ruth Burnett, Heather Crosthwaite and Val Toohey.
