In celebration of the Victorian Seniors Festival, the local service club hosted its Toe-Tapping Light Lunch on Monday, October 7, at Toolamba Community Hall.
To the delight of the 80 guests, the gathering was a feast for both the stomach and the soul.
A delicious spread and the added thrill of a lucky door prize drew smiles all around.
But arguably, it was the music that truly set the atmosphere.
Local band The Splinters performed timeless classics that weaved through the crowd like a binding thread, pulling everyone together and coaxing some to the dance floor.
Toolamba Lions said the event was a resounding success, thanks in no small part to the generosity of local volunteers who contributed scones and sausage rolls and helped out on the day.
