In the senior MVCA competitions, the Tocumwal Bloods, Finley Cats and Berrigan Saints will all field an A-grade side.
The other A-grade sides are Barooga, Cobram Tigers, Deniliquin Rhinos, Katamatite Tigers and Nathalia.
The A-grade season starts from October 12, with seven one day fixtures to be played by November 23. Game time each week is 12.30pm Saturdays.
In the opening round of one-dayers, Finley is away at Katamatite, Tocumwal at Cobram and Berrigan will host Nathalia.
The MVCA B-grade and C-grade competitions similarly has six one day fixtures announced for Saturdays at 1pm, between October 19 to November 23.
Finley is the only Southern Riverina team in the B-grade, with other teams including Barooga, Cobram Tigers, Katamatite Tigers, Katunga Swans and Nathalia.
Finley opens its B-grade campaign at Yalca North Recreation Reserve against Nathalia.
In the C-grade, Tocumwal will field two sides - Red and White - and Finley are also included.
Other teams in the C-grade are Cobram Tigers, Deniliquin Rhinos, Katamatite Tigers, Katunga Swans, Nathalia and Strathmerton Bulldogs.
To start the season Tocumwal Red take on Strathmerton away, Finley play Nathalia away and Tocumwal White have a bye.
The MVCA T20 competition will again take place this year with the Southern Riverina represented by Berrigan. Barooga, Cobram and Katamatite will also compete.
Cobram and Katamatite play this Saturday in Cobram from 10.30am while Berrigan take on Barooga away, starting at 6pm next Thursday, October 10.
The semi finals will then take place Friday, October 11 with first place set to play fourth and second set to play third.
The winners will play off in the T20 grand final on Friday, October 18.
The other teams - Finley, Tocumwal, Deni and Nathalia - will play each other in two separate T20 matches at Deniliquin Memorial Park from 10.30am on Sunday, October 20.
In the Griffith District Cricket Association senior competitions, the Coleambally Nomads are designated to represent the Southern Riverina.
They have teams in the second grade, third grade and the Alan Giddey T20 shield competitions.
Other teams include the Coro Cougars, Ex-Serviceman’s Diggers, Ex-Servicemen’s Eagles, Griffith Leagues Panthers, Hanwood Wanderers and Leeton CC.
The GDCA second grade is a 14 game, one-day competition which starts Saturday October 19. The Nomads start the season with a bye.
The third grade and Alan Giddey T20 shield competitions start Friday, October 18 at 5pm with the Nomads taking on the Diggers away.
The third grade season sees five T20s spread across the nine game season, and four two-day games.
Both grades have a three week final series of one-day games.
The Alan Giddey shield grand final will be played between the top two third grade T20 teams after the first two T20 games.
