A series of events were held last week to help the Year 12s say farewell to the school community before hitting the books in earnest for the start of exams mid-month.
The now traditional ‘slave auction’ was held Tuesday, coupled with the dress-up fun day.
Costumed senior students were ‘sold’ to the highest bidder to perform various duties on their behalf.
The auction raised $1400, which will be donated to the Westmead Children’s Hospital.
On Wednesday, the Year 12s headed over the border to Echuca for a fun day out with some of their teachers.
They enjoyed a one-hour paddle steamer cruise on the PS Canberra and lunch at the Shamrock Hotel.
Their final day at school was Thursday, when the traditional farewell assembly was held.
After a short break for the holidays, the HSC exam timetable will begin from Tuesday, October 15.
All exams across the state will be completed by Friday, November 8.
