Murchison-Toolamba coach Alice Cunningham was pivotal in her side’s ascendency in the first term.
However, it was Sharni Lloyd’s introduction into Nagambie’s attack that turned the tide.

‘‘Murchison-Toolamba really challenged us, we let them get on top of us in that first quarter.
‘‘But I thought our experience started to shine in the middle quarters and we grabbed control of the contest.
‘‘Our youngsters started so that they could get a feel for a high-pressure game, we wanted to impose them on the contest and they did a great job.’’
