Barooga might have next to no chance of playing finals this season, but that did not stop it inflicting a massive blow on cross-town rival Cobram's campaign during Saturday's Murray Football League derby.

With the Tigers able to move inside the top four with a win and take a huge step towards securing a double chance, the Hawks rose to the occasion and knocked their neighbors off, taking a five-point thriller after trailing at three-quarter-time.
As a result, the Tigers are sixth on the table with two games to play, and with fixtures against Finley (ninth) and Mulwala (fourth), are up against it in the race for the top four.
And Barooga's win means while it will need a string of results to go its way in the final fortnight of the home-and-away season, it remains a mathematical chance of playing finals, two games back from eighth-ranked Tungamah.
In a vital game, Cobram got the jump and was eight points up at quarter-time, but the Hawks were not prepared to let the game slip away from them and battled into the contest, kicking three goals in the second term to take a nine-point half-time lead.
But the back-and-forth clash had the Tigers get it going again with the only two goals of the third term, edging three points ahead at the final break.
The Hawks lifted and found three goals in the last, with Cobram's two majors not enough to avoid a disastrous loss.
Leading the way for the Hawks up forward was Wade Demasi with three goals, while Riley Gow kicked two as the side's only other multiple goalkicker.
Zac Brain, Logan Morey, Ricky Thomson and Richard Gatcum were best for Barooga, while Cobram's standouts were Tom Scott, Adam De Cicco, Luca Allen and Chris George.
Nick Wines and De Cicco each kicked two goals for the Tigers.
