Price Waterhouse Coopers Australia appointed three partners as administrators, and 54 stores were announced to be permanently closing within the next two weeks, resulting in nearly 200 job losses.
PwC administrators told The News that the Shepparton store would not be one of the 54 stores closing.
This exception no doubt would bring with it tremendous relief, as the store on Benalla Rd is set to continue operations, ensuring job security for its employees.
PwC cited lower customer demand, increased operating costs and heightened competition as factors affecting the company’s profitability.
