Mitchell was presented with the honour at presentation day on December 14.
He was one of many students recognised for their academic and sporting achievements throughout the year.
The school leaders for 2023 were also inducted at presentation day, with Nina Glowrey and Jacob Norris elected as captains.
Vice captains for 2023 will be Harper Taylor and Ranbir Singh.
