Round 1 v Kyabram: Anthony De Pasquale took seven inside 50 marks (Rochester took seven as a team) and kicked four goals

Round 2 v Seymour: Lachlan Waite had six inside 50 marks (Rochester took six as a team) and kicked four goals.

Round 3 v Echuca: Weight of numbers beat the Tigers, who had half the number of clearances and 34 less inside 50 entries.

Round 4 v Shepparton: The one that got way. Rochester won the contested disposal count by 22, had more inside 50s, won clearances 47-24 and had more pressure acts. But still lost by 11 points.

Round 7 v Mansfield: Brett Mahoney had 37 disposals, five tackles and kicked three goals in a clear best afield 182 ranking point game.

Round 8 v Benalla: Jarrad Waite took eight inside 50 marks and kicked 8.1 from 12 kicks, the second ranked player (behind Joe Atley) with 143 points.

Round 9 v Euroa: Magpies big men Andrew Smith and Jack McKernan kicked six goals between them as the Magpies took 29 forward 50 marks to 10,
