Rochester has bounced back to record its third victory of the season, defeating Mansfield 55-34 at Moon Oval.

In doing so, the Tigers also denied Mansfield their first win of the season, with the Eagles sitting on the bottom of the ladder, just behind the also winless Kyabram.
The Bombers were defeated at home against Seymour, the Lions (6-1) improving to third on the ladder, level on wins with Euroa and Tatura.

The Magpies and Bulldogs faced off at Tatura Park, where Euroa handed Tatura its first loss of the season, prevailing 46 to 28. Alongside Seymour, the Bulldogs and Magpies now sit one game behind the undefeated Mooroopna.
The Cats travelled to Benalla to take on the Saints (1-6), comfortably accounting for their opponents in the 66 to 25 win, the largest margin of the round.
Echuca defeated Shepparton United (2-5) at home and improve to a 4-2 record, with Raina Fimmel earning best-on honours for the Murray Bombers in the 27-goal win.
Ash Mangan and Lauran Jones were also solid for Echuca, who increased the margin at every break, turning a 28 to 16 half-time lead into the eventual 61 to 34 win.
Georgia Walpole was best-on for Shepparton United, while Olivia Kirkby and Bess Schnioffsky were also solid contributors.
Shepparton Bears (4-2) and Shepparton Swans (2-5) faced off at Deakin Reserve, and the rivalry delivered on its promise, a 66-61 shootout falling the way of the Bears.
