NSW have suffered an injury scare with Payne Haas limping out of training with an apparent ankle injury ahead of Wednesday's State of Origin series opener.
Haas was spotted trudging off Coogee Oval before seeking treatment on his left ankle and having an ice pack applied as he laid on a grandstand bench.
Any concerns over Haas' fitness would be a serious concern for the Blues, given his ability to play big minutes through the middle of the field.
