Internationally recognised artist Rory McKenna, along with Cam Noble on keys and sax-player Kenny, will provide an ensemble of neo-soul, jazz and R&B tunes.
Ryan Gay and emerging act the Ludlow Twins will be supporting, representing the region’s local music scene.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Kim O’Keeffe is encouraging locals and visitors to attend the event.
“Goulburn Vibes is a specialty event only Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley can offer,” Cr O’Keeffe said.
“Our beautiful lake precinct and Goulburn River is the perfect setting to meet up with friends and family in the beautiful outdoors, bring a picnic rug and chairs and take in all the surroundings of the water, red gums and beautiful music.
“We hope visitors will enjoy what our region has to offer over the Easter long weekend and will take the opportunity to see a side of Greater Shepparton they have not experienced before.”
On offer will be Chow Town, Grill on Wheels and M&R Coffee Van for attendees to enjoy some great fresh food and sweet treats.
In collaboration with Tallis Wines and Mog Brewery, caravan bar Grandpa Charlie will serve a selection of local beer and wines.
The Saturday, April 16, event will run from 6pm to 9pm at Western Park, next to the all-abilities playground in Tom Collins Dve.
Event-goers are welcome to bring their own food and are encouraged to bring a chair and picnic rug.
Goulburn Vibes is a COVID-safe event and follows the directions of the Victorian Government COVID-safe settings.
It will be a gated event and will require attendees 18-plus to show proof of vaccination upon entry and check in to the Service Victoria App via QR code.
