The first quarter of the fourths clash was a real battle, and the Kats backline made us work really hard for a five point lead.

The Redeyes utilised shots at goal converting better in the second, with a lot better strike rate. It resulted in a 30 point lead at half-time.
In the third quarter the Kats came back at us again, and made us work really hard.
They crowded our forward line, putting a lot of pressure on the forwards and making them spray the face of goals.
The Young redeyes really put the pedal down in the final stanza and pulled away with a 78 point victory.
It is credit to their hard work on the training track, which is really starting to show on the weekends.
With a solid four quarter performance from all, it was hard to pick the best players.
Will Frost had the ball on a string. His ability to break out of stoppages and hit targets was awesome to watch.
Ash Hines' silky ball skills and movements proved to be a headache for the Kats midfield and Jeremy Doolan played another cracking game in the ruck. He then gave us some dashing run off the wing in the last quarter, giving us countless inside 50s.
Haydn Sampson was great off the half back, setting the Redeyes up and repelling anything that came his way.

Mitchell Grimwood’s work rate off centre half forward really shows how much this kid is maturing as a player, giving us plenty of inside 50s. He even rewarded himself with a couple of cracking goals in the last quarter.
The fifths had a great win. They have lifted their skills to another level.
Best was Jack Brown, who is a great player, and Charlie Tremble had his best game.
It’s great that the bigger boys are bringing the little ones into the game.
Our hand ball is great we have got to keep it going.
