Riverlinks WestSide Performing Arts Centre in Mooroopna will host the Transit Dance Company’s community performance of Opus on Thursday, April 20.
The 70-minute performance features dynamic and physical expressions of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, choreographed by emerging choreographer Jayden Hicks.
The show includes a special performance by aspiring dance students who will showcase a piece they have created during a four-day creative dance workshop led by the dance company’s choreographers.
Opus promises to be an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages, blending gritty, rough, and primitive dance movements with Vivaldi’s timeless score.
This unique juxtaposition of styles will dazzle the senses.
Riverlinks Venues manager Ken Cameron is looking forward to showcasing local talent and Transit Dance Company’s performance to the public.
The show is on Thursday, April 20, at 7.30pm. Tickets, ranging from $20 to $25, are available online, in person or through the Riverlinks box office on 5832 9511.
