Kyabram event co-ordinator Naomi Cartwright said the first event at Kyabram Parkland Golf Club was open to all ability junior golfers from throughout the district.
A modified program will enable three, six or nine hole events, depending on the ability of players. There are beginner, intermediate and advanced divisions, with a $5 entry fee for host club members and $10 for non-members.
Tatura’s Hill Top, Mooroopna and Shepparton Golf Clubs will also host rounds on April 23, June 4 and June 25.
Mrs Cartwright said clubs were available, if needed, and the event would start at 9am and finish at about 11am, depending on the holes played.
“This event is the first of many junior events to held across the district,” she said.
“Parkland will continue to provide junior golf on selected Sundays throughout the winter months (April 16, 30 and May 7, 21) to start with.”
