Haircut to raise funds for Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation

Along with donating her hair, Katelyn raised $1000 for the foundation and said she did so because she knew how expensive it could be to make a wig.

Toolamba Primary School’s Filippa Kimmorley said Katelyn was known for her generosity, winning Young Citizen of the Year this year for Toolamba for her efforts.

Ms Kimmorley said the school was extremely proud of her efforts, as were Katelyn’s parents who were at the school on Monday watching on.
