Goulburn Valley exports were heavily involved in Friday night's clash between the Western Bulldogs and Carlton.
The round-opener went right to the wire before Bonnie Toogood's Bulldogs proved too strong for Grace Egan's Blues in a six-point triumph.
Mansfield product Toogood had 11 touches, four tackles, three marks and booted a behind in her side's win, while Shepparton's Egan was again influential at the coal face in the clash.
The inside midfielder managed seven tackles to go with her 13 disposals in the loss.
Geelong went down to Collingwood on Saturday, but Benalla's Becky Webster was one of the stars of the contest.
Webster racked up 18 possessions, took three marks and had four tackles in defeat, while Kyabram's Julia Crockett-Grills secured six tackles along with 15 disposals.
Mooroopna's Millie Brown missed the clash through injury.
Adelaide had a big win over GWS, with Shepparton product Angela Foley accumulating 11 disposals for the Crows.
The round three fixtures have been released, with Geelong hosting the Western Bulldogs on Friday, February 12, before Carlton tackles St Kilda on Saturday and Adelaide hosts Fremantle on Sunday.
