Railway reunion a great success

“It was good to see them, a lot of people I haven’t seen for 30 years,” Mr Cleary said.

Despite the wet weather meaning the group remained inside, the day went off without a hitch.

“We sort of took over the whole pub, pretty much. We sort of had the bar and the back room.”

Many of the visitors stayed in town overnight.

Mr Clarey plans to run the event again in March 2024.
